CBTSUK presents a small memento to HRH The Princess Royal

On Tues 20 Jan 15, the Chairman of CBTSUK was invited to attend Swinfen Charitable Trust UK’s focus meeting at Lansdowne Club, Mayfair, London, where the selected trustees and consultants of SCT from around the world attended. It was learnt from the meeting that SCT was the biggest humanitarian telemedicine networking group in the world. The meeting praised CBTSUK’s humanitarian work in the foothills of Nepal and the chairman had an opportunity to thank the trustees and consultants for their support to Char Bhanjyang.

On the same evening the Chairman and some executive members attended the Royal reception party at St. James Palace, London where HRH Princess Royal the Patron of SCT attended as the guest of honour. Char Bhanjyang’s charity work were displayed among the many other charity activities around the world and many dignitaries praised our efforts. HRH showed deep interest and thanked us for our hard work. After Rt. Hon Lord Swinfen’s speech, the chairman expressed his gratitude to the SCT and presented a small memento (an oil painting of the Char Bhanjyang Centre for Health clinic, “Swinfen House”) on behalf of CBTSUK to HRH as the patron of SCT. She was fascinated by our story and showed her interest to visit our village in the future. The chairman very happily invited her for the visit.
