Char Bhanjyang Tamu Samaj UK’s support to Swayambhu Buddhist Cemetery Renovation Project, Kathmandu (Rs 6,33,770)
Ama Group of CBTS Kathmandu initiated the renovation project of Swayambhu Buddhist Cemetery in Kathmandu after no authority showed any concern of its total ruined condition. Initially Rs. 2500,000 was estimated for the renovation of this cemetery. On the request of CBTS Kathmandu Ama Group, CBTSUK raised Rs 6,33,770 under the coordination of CBTSUK Ama group chairperson Mrs Santi Gurung. Tamu Dhee UK also supported this project by donating Rs 50,000. These donations were handed over to Chairperson Mrs Santu Ghale in Kathamadu by the Chairman of CBTSUK on 9 Nov 2011 and by the general secretary of CBTSUK on 30th Mar 2013. Mrs Ghale expressed her gratitude to all members of CBTSUK and TDUK.
