Luncheon meeting with Rt Hon Lord Roger and Lady Pat Swinfen at the House of Lords.
Chairman CBTSUK Hon Lt Chandra Gurung, regional project director of Char Bhanjyang Area Development Project Capt Deo Bdr Gurung, Mrs Bimla Gurung and Mrs Shanti Gurung attended the meeting. An update report about Char Bhanjyang and the effects of the recent earthquake in the area was given.
Lord and Lady Swinfen presented £500 of personal donation and have ensured that further assistance will be provided for earthquake victims.
The meeting also discussed the medical camp taking place in November 2015 and telemedicine assistance to a wider population of Nepal. — at House of Lords.
