Honorary life meber : Maj (Retd) Hugh Bardell MBE, QG Signal
Maj Hugh Bardell is the senior executive advisior and one of the founding members of the Char Bhanjyang Area Development Project. His persuasion and advise to the potential donors made Char Bhanjyang’s dreams to establish higher education (Shree Janajyoti Higher Secondary School) and to complete Char Bhanjyang Centre for Health project, a reality. He coordinated the school construction project and advised our team on the health project. He bought one ropani land which he donated to the 10+2 school for future projects. Maj Bardell also provided teaching materials and furniture to the Char Bhanjyang schools. Maj Hugh Bardell’s endless support from even before the start of CBTSUK has brought him so close to us that he is considered our Ghotane (Gurung Clan) brother.
Lt Col Lynda Bardell has been an outstanding supporter of Char Bhanjyang since the very beginning of Char Bhajyang. She is the medical adviser of the Char Bhanjyang Centre for health and her passion to help improve health care for the villagers has been a fundamental part of our success. Currently, Lt Col Lynda Bardell is funding all of the university expenses of our potential clinic nurse who is studying nursing at Narayani Techincal Collage in Hetaunda, Nepal. Char Bhanjyang will forever be grateful for her genorsity which will not only provide the villagers with another health professional but also build a brighter future for this student.
Mr Stephen Hemsley was the main financial donor to construct Domino’s Pizza Building in Char Bhajyang Khalte, Parbat that made possible to establish Shree Janajyoti Higher Secondary (10+2) School.
