Nursing with Altitude!!

Nursing with Altitude!!

The Swinfen Charitable Trust and the Char Bhanjyang Tamu Samaj and lots of friends have worked together to build a Centre for Health in the Himalayan hills of Nepal. I have been very much engaged in the development of this project from its conception to its operation today. The Char Bhanjyang Centre for Health (Swinfen House) has helped more than 4, 000 patients, from new born babies to 106 year olds, since it was opened by Lord Roger and Lady Pat Swinfen in 2013.

Annu Gurung is training to be a nurse so she can work in the Centre but needs funds to complete her studies. Nuffield Health is sponsoring me in my Cycle Challenge so I can raise the much needed funding.

My Cycle Challenge is from 18 – 22 May 2015. It starts at Nuffield Health Bristol and finishes 5 days and almost 300 miles later at the HQ of Swinfen Charitable Trust in Canterbury. Along the way I will be calling at Nuffield Health hospitals and Well Being gyms in Yoevil, Bournemouth, Chichester and Tunbridge Wells before the last push on to Canterbury.
