Why Support Char Bhanjyang Area Development Project?

Char Bhanjyang consist of four village development committees, namely Thanamaula, Bhangara, Phalamkhani and Kurgha VDC. These villages are situated in the remote part of Parbat in western part of Nepal. Once many soldiers of the British, Indian and Nepalese army were recruited from this area. Series of natural disasters and the political unrest that began in early 2000s disrupted the normal life of these beautiful villages. The life in the village has been volatile.

As a result most of the villagers migrated into the urban areas in search of a better life, greater opportunities and most importantly personal security. Those villagers who could not afford and did not wish to move remained in the village. In majority of cases they were poor and vulnerable.People of these villages are very poor and deprived of education. To go to nearest school, children have to walk at least 3 hours. The nearest hospital is 6 hours walk from the village. People die without getting basic medical care.

Despite their hard work throughout the year they do not have enough to feed them and their children. Never ending political situation has provided no governmental support and security. So please help these unfortunate people. Your little support mean great help for them.
